Bridge to Home (Respite)
If you are the caregiver for an aging family member, you probably know how important it is to take a break from those duties on a regular basis. Respite services can be a solution. Your senior loved one can stay with us while you rest and rejuvenate.
We also understand there are times when an older adult needs extra attention from skilled nurses and therapists to regain the strength and confidence they need to live independently. Beaumont Commons, Farmington Hills Senior Community can help with that, too.
Bridge to Home℠ Recuperative Program
Our innovative Bridge to Home program offers older adults in southeast Michigan a place to continue recuperating. The environment is designed to support seniors as they rebuild their strength after a hospital stay or similar rehabilitative experience.
Through our referral partnership with Residential Home Health Care, Bridge to Home patients receive physical and occupational therapy services. In most cases, these services are covered by a senior’s Medicare benefit.
The Bridge to Home program is housed in the Beaumont Commons, Farmington Hills’ assisted living center. In one of our fully-furnished respite suites, short-term residents have access to life enrichment programs, three daily meals served in our Bistro, and an on-site beauty/barber shop. Patients also have access to an on-site physician during their stay.
